At the N end of a low N-S ridge, on the gentle E-facing slope. Oval area (dims 46m N-S; 33m E-W) used as a garden, defined by an overgrown flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 5.3-7.5m; Wth of top 1.4-3.2m; int. H 0.4-0.9m; ext. H 1-1.5m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m) incorporated into a field bank NNW-NE, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4-6.2m; Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.6-1m) which is re-cut as a drain and pond S-W. There is a modernised entrance (Wth 4m) at SSE. Rath (RO029-124----) is c. 210m to the S.
