What is recorded here

On a shoulder at the W end of a WNW-ESE ridge which slopes away to the W and N. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 45.5m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-5m; int. H 0.1m at NNW (downslope) to 0.3-0.6m generally; ext. H 0.15-0.3m E-S to 0.6-1.05m generally) and hedge, with a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.2m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.35m) SSW-NW. There is an entrance (Wth 3m) at SSW, and the monument is surrounded by field banks E-S-W. It had been removed by 2005 (OSAP). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
