In improved pasture, on a N-facing slope with excellent views NW-NE. Rectangular area (dims. c. 32m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.18m; ext. H 1.2m) which has distinct curvilinear corners at NW, NE and SE. Bank (Wth 5.1m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.05m) is best preserved E-SE. Bank is a very low along S-half of W-side and is levelled out at N-end of W-side. Field boundary (long axis N-S) (Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.1m) abuts low bank at W and may be part of the original bank incorporated into the field boundary. A significant gap (Wth 5.5m) is at ESE and breaches (Wth 1m and 3.5m) are at SE and N respectively. Fosse (overall Wth 3.9-4.55m; basal Wth 1.35-1.75m; D 0.25-0.75m) NW-NE-SE-SSW. Outer bank (Wth 3.95m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.6m) is best preserved at NNE, and has intermittent gaps elsewhere. Interior has a NW-facing slope and possible house site (TS066-139001-) is within S-sector. Field boundary (long axis E-W) extends from inner bank and across fosse at SE and SW.
