In pasture. D-shaped platform (straight side 70m N-S; projecting c. 40m to W) abuts modern field boundary and drainage channel to E; defined by scarp (H 0.8m) S->N. Interior inaccessible to S; N half cleared of trees and overgrowth. No visible surface trace of enclosure extending into field to E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
