In pasture close to road, built into natural slope. Small, square, partially-overgrown kiln (3.75m N-S; 3.85m E-W; front H 2.8m; rear H 1.5m), E side collapsed. Front elevation (S) has lintelled recess (H 1.53m; Wth 1.05m; D 1.6m) with sloping slabs to rear. Circular funnel (diam. 1.65m) infilled. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map.
