Situated on the S-facing slope of a drumlin, and indicated only on the 1907 edition of the 6-inch map by a curved field bank W-N-E. This is a grass-covered circular area (diam. 38m E-W; 36.7m N-S) sloping down steeply to the S which is defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at N: Wth 4m; int. H 2m; ext. H 2m) and outer fosse (at N: Wth of base 1.5m; ext. D 1.5m) W-N-E. The original entrance is not identified. Revised by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 17 January 2018
