What is recorded here

indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Aghrafinigan, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures twenty-eight metres across and sits towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a drumlin, about seventy metres from the NE shore of a rectangular bay on Lough Key. A shallow scarp defines the NW and NE edges while the drumlin slope forms the rest, and a north-south field bank cuts through the eastern side. Another rath lies roughly one hundred and fifty metres to the north-north-east.

Towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a drumlin, c. 70m from the NE shore of rectangular bay (dims. c. 600m NE-SW; c. 350m NW-SE) on the NE shore of Lough Key. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28m) defined by a scarp down to the interior (H 0.4m) NW-NE and the slope of the drumlin elsewhere. It is truncated by a N-S field bank at E.
