Four-arch road bridge over An Laoi [River Lee], built c.1800, with recent repairs. Rubble limestone construction with voussoirs upright coping stones.
Built in local stone by local craftsmen, this bridge is a testament to the quality of late eighteenth century bridge design and construction. It has played a key role in facilitating communication and social networks in the area.
