West Cork, Ireland. Rath CO131-009 contains a circular hut site 9.95m NW-SE and 7.8m NE-SW in its southern quadrant. The rath and hut belong to one another: a defensible ring, then a smaller living ring inside it. People may have stood at the hut’s edge and seen the whole valley through a gap in the bank.
