It occupies a drumlin and contains a circular grass area, an earthen bank, an external ditch, an east entrance, cultivation ridges, a low oval mound, and underground passages in the northwest quadrant. The shape is simple, but the hidden passages and blocked entrance suggest the fort was built to be seen, defended and remembered.

Cultivation ridges cross interior on E-W axis; low oval-shaped mound (H 0.1m; 3.7m N-S; 5.7m E-W) 10m inside S bank; Man-made underground passages (CO118-060002-; CO118-060003-) in NW quadrant.
