Hut site in Inchinanagh

In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Slaheny River. The remains of a circular hut site (4.9m N-S; 4.6m E-W) defined by a heather-covered stone wall (T 0.85m; H 0.3m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog (D 0.4m). A break (Wth 2m) at ESE may indicate an entrance. There is an enclosure (KE103-034----) c. 25m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
