Hut site in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of a circular hut site (2.1m N-S; 2m E-W) defined by a partly grass-covered wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) of drystone construction. There is a possible entrance at E. The interior is cut slightly into the slope at N and built up slightly at S to compensate for the hillslope. Three other hut sites (KE093-085001-, KE093-085004-, KE093-085006-) are c. 60m to the ENE, c. 20m to the SE and c. 30m to the S, respectively. Two field systems (KE093-085----, KE093-085003-) and a relict field boundary (KE093-085007-) are in the immediate vicinity.
