Hut site in Gortlahard (glanarought By., Cappagh Ed)

In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of an oval hut site (2.8m NW-SE; 1.7m SW-NE) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.7m; H 0.5m). The basal stones of the wall protrude above the peat. There is an entrance (Wth 0.5m) at E. Three other hut sites (KE093-085002-, KE093-085004-, KE093-085005-) are c. 40m to the NW, c. 50m to the SW and c. 60m to the WSW, respectively. A relict field boundary (KE093-085007-) and two field systems (KE093-085----, KE093-085003-) are in the immediate vicinity.
