In undulating upland pasture, on top of a hill with good views from NE-E-S-SW, 50m W of a townland boundary with Pallashill. Situated within field system (LI024-044001-); Hut sites (LI024-044003-/281----) lie 18m to SW and 25m to NE, respectively. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as a low profile D-shaped area (8m NE-SW; 8.3m NW-SE) defined by the remains of levelled bank (L 6m; Wth 3.85m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.6m) along the straight side to NW and by a curvilinear scarp (Wth 1m; H 0.15m) from N-E-S-WSW. The scant remains of fosse (Wth 3.3m; D 0.35m) are visible from NNE-E-S-SSW. Monument is raised on NW-side to compensate for hillslope. The interior is grass covered and slopes gently downwards to NW. Monument is visible as a roughly D-shaped cropmark (overall 13m NE-SW; 11m NW-SE) on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
