In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of Coomeelan stream. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (3m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) with a straight N side (L 4.5m E-W). The lower courses of the wall protrude above the surface of the bog (D 0.4m). The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.4m) and the N portion is cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. There is an enclosure (KE103-024001-) and another hut site (KE103-024002-) c. 40m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
