What is recorded here

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of the Coomeelan stream and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE103-006001-). The remains of a D-shaped hut site (1.2m NW-SE) defined by a partially collapsed, curving drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.7m) and by a straight NW side (L 1.6m NE-SW), formed by the linear face of a large stone. Rubble is spilling downslope externally. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
