Hut site in Gearhanagoul

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of the Coomeelan stream and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE103-006001-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2m) defined by a partially grass-covered, collapsed, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.7m). The lower courses of the wall protrude above the surface of the bog. Boulders are incorporated into the wall at NE and W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
