Hut site in Fustane Lower

In rough peaty pasture, on a level area on the W bank of a river. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.5m N-S; 2m E-W) defined by a collapsed, grass-covered drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.5m) on the N, E and S sides and by a grassed-over clay escarpment (H 1.5m) on the W side. There is an entrance (Wth 0.8m) at the NW corner. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
