Hut site in Com Uí Chlúmháin

In rough fern-covered hill grazing, on the N side of a terrace on the S-facing slopes of Carrignaspirroge. The remains of a rectangular hut site (2.2m E-W; 1.2m N-S) defined by a roughly built drystone wall (T 0.4m; H 0.8m). The wall at the N and W consists of mainly large rough stones set on an outcropping rock. The entrance (Wth 0.6m) is at the N end of the E wall. The hut is sheltered by rising ground to the W and N.
