Cloon East holds a rectangular drystone hut measuring 4.3m by 3.1m, its western wall still carrying a smooth stone marked with a circular depression. That worn cup suggests the chamber served more than shelter, perhaps linking domestic life to the holy well nearby. The dimensions are precise enough to picture a small bedroom or workshop, yet the cupped stone refuses an ordinary explanation.

Lying on its W wall is a bullaun-type stone, .93m x .62m x .2m, which features a circular depression, .33m in diameter, on its upper surface. It may perhaps derive from the holy well (KE082-021----) in the neighbouring townland. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
