What is recorded here
Five metres of exposed skin on a Meath hill, the hut has no door because it never needed one. It sits inside the larger rath like a chamber hidden in a living body, waiting for the right person to remember how to enter.
Situated on a prominent hillock in an undulating low-lying landscape, and at the centre of rath (ME014-018----). This is a circular area (diam. 5.1-5.3m) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 0.7-1m; H 0.2m) but there is no evidence of an entrance.
