What is recorded here

On top of an elevation within an enclosure (CO126-025004-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 4m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m), most of which is scattered along the slopes outside the perimeter. The entrance (Wth 0.8m), which is situated along the NE arc, is indicated by a slab (H 0.7m; 0.5m x 0.2m) set at right angles to the perimeter. The slab indicating the opposite side of the entrance has fallen. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
