What is recorded here
End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house with dormer attic, c.1775, on a corner site. Renovated and extended, c.1950, comprising two-bay single-storey end bay to south-west with openings remodelled to ground floor to original block. Refenestrated, pre-1999. Pitched slate roofs with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, rendered coping, square rooflights, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, pre-1999, on rendered eaves. Unpainted replacement rendered walls, c.1950. Square-headed window openings (remodelled, c.1950, to ground floor) with rendered sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows, pre-1999. Square-headed door opening with replacement glazed uPVC door, pre-1999. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.
Although comprehensively renovated over the course of the twentieth century leading to the loss of much of the original fabric, much of the original form and massing remains intact, notably the grouped openings to the front (south-east) elevation that are typical of eighteenth-century architecture, and which form an attractive feature in the streetscape.
