This house forms part of a notable terrace with the adjoining houses to the east. However many of these buildings have been demolished and only the facades retained. The scale and form of these houses contribute to the streetscape. Though interesting features and materials have been replaced, these houses are representative of the quayside development in this area during the first half of the nineteenth century.
