What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1850, now in use as factory. Flat roof with rendered parapet. Rendered walls having enlarged vehicular entrance to ground floor. Timber sliding sash windows.
This house forms part of a notable terrace with the adjoining houses to the east and west. However many of these buildings have been demolished and only the facades retained. The scale and form of these houses contribute to the streetscape. Though interesting features and materials have been replaced, these houses are representative of the quayside development in this area during the first half of the nineteenth century.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
