On ground sloping gently to S, in gently undulating terrain, under pasture. Rectangular house, partially excavated (Excavation number E00455) by Doody (2007, 13-16, Structure 8). The walls of the house were constructed using double rows of post and stakes set into a foundation trench (Wth c. 0.5m). Internal features include a circular pit (diam. 0.77m; D 0.3-0.44m), a shallow oblong depression and stake-holes, the latter possibly being remains of an internal fitting or screen (ibid. 16). A radiocarbon date of 4190+/-50BP; 2893-2667 cal. BC was obtained from charcoal in the pit (ibid. 16). NW half of the house is overlain by a Bronze Age house (TS087-007005-).
