What is recorded here
Close to the N shore of Lough Meelagh. References to an O'Duigenan residence at Kilronan in 1495 (AFM vol. 4, 1219) and 1578 (AFM vol. 5, 1705). This would undoubtedly be in the parish, but it is not located.
