Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1890, facing west, being two-pile to northern two bays, south bay projecting slightly to front and rear elevations to give two-bay south elevation. Two-bay single-storey extension to north. Slate roof, pithced to north end and hipped to south, with rendered chimneystacks and clay ridge tiles. Pitched slate roof to extension with decorative terracotta ridge tiles, carved timber bargeboards, and having red brick chimneystacks in facer bond. Some cast-iron rainwater goods. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls with rendered plinth course having decorative cast-iron vents. Square-headed window openings having tooled limestone sills, with replacement two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed door opening with timber panelled door and single-pane overlight, all set into round-headed recess. Square-headed door opening to extension having timber battened door with rectangular overlight. Outbuilding to north, single-storey and part lofted, having pitched artificial slate roof, coursed tooled limestone rubble walls, and square-headed openings with timber fittings, door openings having tooled voussoirs and timber battened double and single-leaf doors. Rendered boundary walls terminating in square-plan piers with pointed caps and wrought-iron double and single-leaf gates.

This middle-sized house is notable for its offset plan but symmetrical elevation. The building's significance is enhanced by the retention of such details as limestone sills, timber sash windows, cast-iron rainwater goods and ornate cast-iron vents. The building with its associated outbuildings forms an attractive group in the landscape, clearly visible from the church to the south.
