In N side of graveyard (14607). Former C of I parish church of Marshalstown. Remains of medieval church (14444) immediately to S. Roofless rectangular nave (WSW-ENE), of roughly coursed sandstone construction with cut stone detail. Three pointed windows with hood mouldings in S wall, central window larger than flankers; two in N wall. Vestry at E end of N wall. Tall two storey tower on W gable with corner buttresses, flat headed door ope in S wall with hood moulding. Built in 1830 to accommodate 150 people (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 347).
