What is recorded here

Cloghleafin holds a faint circular mark, fifty metres across, beside two possible ringforts. The soil still remembers the ditch even when the field hides it. People may have lived there before written records, shaping a small defence against weather and intrusion. What is absent from memory is not absent from the earth.
