Latoon BridgeBridge · 254 yd

Explorer Tom Latoon Bridge in Latoon North has three arches and was built around 1810, but now it’s bypassed by a new road. It’s sitting there looking confused while the traffic zooms past without saying hi. Make a wish, it's had centuries of practice.

Enclosure in Derreen (islands By.)Enclosure · 823 yd

Explorer Tom Enclosure in Derreen is clearly jealous of the other sites nearby that actually have names. It’s just an enclosure, but it acts like it’s the main event. I bet it holds a grudge against more famous ruins. Find the wonkiest bit and send it to your group chat.

Hawthorn866 yd

Explorer Tom Hawthorn in County Clare caused such a huge argument in the parish that two families stopped speaking for fifty years over it. Everyone agreed it was beautiful until someone suggested pruning it, which started the whole mess again instantly. Practise your Irish on it, it won't correct you.

Manus HouseHouse · 1278 yd

Explorer Tom Manus House in Manusmore is doing its best impression of a serious gentleman since 1810, but that porch? Pure show-off. Tell me if the gossip I made up about its secret diary club is true.

Castlefergus or Ballyhannan(in Rns) 1922Castle, tower house · 1330 yd

Explorer Tom Castlefergus, also known as Ballyhannan to the confused, is a tower house with excellent holiday rental vibes and zero patience for tourists. It probably plays 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on loop. Great spot to propose. Or at least to propose lunch.

Dromoland CastleCastle, unclassified · 1.2 mi

Explorer Tom Dromoland Castle has a base that looks like it was chewed by a giant. The new wing from 1835 is definitely trying to impress the old guy. Walk past slowly like you're in a film where nobody is actually watching.

Mooghaun WoodsWood · 2.0 mi

Explorer Tom Mooghaun Woods introduces itself as 'the one with the best stories' when meeting new people, which is bold given how quiet it is. It’s trying very hard to be memorable but keeps slipping into a daze. Make up your own legend and I'll swear it's true.

Mooghaun HillfortArchaeological place · 2.1 mi

Explorer Tom Mooghaun Hillfort in County Clare is where some ancient smuggler tried to hide a whole barrel of whiskey behind a rock that was actually just a very large potato. The hill looks like it’s been sleeping on its back for a thousand years, dreaming about cheese and salt. Spot the oldest stone and give it a name.

G.A.A. Commemorative StoneMemorial · 2.2 mi

Explorer Tom The G.A.A. Commemorative Stone would tell you in a job interview that its main skill is 'staying put while other things get kicked around.' It’s got zero flexibility but maximum pride, claiming it’s the backbone of local sports history. Bring a coin for luck and keep it in your pocket.

Irish Famine MemorialMemorial · 2.2 mi

Explorer Tom The Irish Famine Memorial has one bird that refuses to leave, sitting on its shoulder like a grumpy guardian angel who’s seen too much. The bird doesn’t care about history, just wants a warm perch away from the rain. Pop by and tell it it's looking well.

Quin AbbeyHeritage attraction · 3.0 mi

Explorer Tom Quin Abbey in County Clare had a fox take charge of the kitchen one night and served up a menu of only stolen socks and old hats. The abbey still looks like it’s waiting for the monks to come back and complain about the lack of proper bread. Get a photo with it before it gets a better agent.

O'Connell ColumnMonument · 4.1 mi

Explorer Tom O'Connell Column is standing tall in Ennis while some local insists he personally carved every single block with a spoon. He’ll tell you it took him three weeks and one very strong cup of tea. Go at sunset and thank me later.
