Attached three-bay two-storey house, c.1875, probably originally two separate two-bay two-storey houses. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond squat chimney stacks having stepped capping, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves having iron ties. Fine roughcast lime rendered walls over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and one-over-one timber sash windows having timber casement windows to first floor. Square-headed door opening in camber-headed recess with step supporting padstones, and tongue-and-groove timber panelled door (outline of camber-headed door opening with step or threshold, and rendered infill). Street fronted with stone cobbled verge.

A picturesque small-scale house probably originally intended as two separate houses as suggested by evidence including the outline of an additional door opening. Having been well maintained, the house presents an early aspect with the simple attributes identifying an almost urban vernacular quality surviving in place together with most of the historic or original fabric, thereby upholding the positive impression made in the street scene.
