Attached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1880, formerly also in use as post office. Later pitched and lean-to extensions to rear (north). Pitched slate and artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Square-headed door opening having timber glazed door and overlight with rendered block-and-start surrounds. Square-headed openings to rear having timber casement windows and timber glazed door. Rubble limestone walls with rendered gate piers and wrought-iron gate. Outbuildings to rear.

The form of this house is typical of late nineteenth century two-storey dwellings with a centrally-located door, symmetrical fenestration and gable chimneystacks. The retention of timber sliding sash windows contributes to its character. Apparently formerly used as a post office, it would have once played an important role in the local community. In conjunction with the adjoining building and outbuildings, it makes a positive contribution to the surrounding area.
