Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1850. Hipped natural slate roof with overhanging eaves, cast-iron rainwater goods and a central pair of brick chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls over smooth rendered plinth. Square-headed window openings having cut stone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Wrought-iron security bars to ground floor window openings. Central square-headed doorcase having a dressed limestone surround, a timber door and a plain overlight above. Set back from road, perpendicular to road alignment, to the north of Rosemount.

An appealing and interesting early nineteenth-century house, which retains its early form, character and historic details. This house has a conscious and well-proportioned design and has the feel of a vernacular interpretation of the typical late-Georgian house, which would have been the more formal contemporaries of this structure. This building is distinguished by the simple, yet elegant, cut limestone doorcase, which reinforces its character and helps to elevate this house above the norm. This house is aligned at a right angle to the road, a typical feature of Irish vernacular houses. The iron bars to the ground floor openings are an interesting and usual feature to find on a house of this scale. This building is a worthy addition to the built heritage of the local area, and enhances its pleasant rural location.
