Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1890, with recent porch (north) and extension to rear (south). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings with one-over-one timber sliding sash windows and stone sills. Square-headed opening with timber glazed door with overlight. Outbuildings to side (west) and rear. Enclosed by hedgerow.

This structure is located in a prominent position with commanding views overlooking the main road in Béal Átha an Ghaorthaidh [Ballingeary]. Its style is typical of a late nineteenth century rural Irish house, and retains much of its historic fabric.
