What is recorded here

Terraced four-bay two-storey house, built c.1900, with vacant retail outlet to ground floor. Pitched slate roof with aluminium covered chimneystack and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings with one-over-one timber sliding sash windows, stone sills and sill guard to ground floor. Square-headed openings with timber panelled doors and overlights. Timber shopfront comprising cornice, name fascia and scroll consoles set over square-headed timber tripartite fixed display windows with stone sills.
This building's size and scale are similar to the surrounding terraced building and it makes a positive contribution to the streetscape. The shopfront is a particularly interesting feature of the building and serves as reminder of the building's original use.
