No visible marker remains for the holy well beside The Shrubs, yet the area still carries a remembered edge of devotion. The house is gone, the ground built over, and the water hidden from sight. What is left is a absent shape in the local story, a well that was said to be blessed and now can only be imagined beneath the streets.
