What is recorded here
Test excavation (Licence no. 13E0283) in advance of a proposed development identified a ditched enclosure (60m N-S x 80m E-W), the E extent of which may have been truncated by ploughing. The ditch (3m wide x 1.5m deep) fill had inclusions of sea shells and animal bone. No datable finds were recovered. The development has been redesigned to preserve the monument in situ (McLoughlin 2013).
