HMS Ladysmith was a British Royal Navy light cruiser launched in 1900 and lost in 1914 during World War I when it struck a mine in the North Sea. The wreck resulted in the loss of 16 crew members; the vessel now lies in Scottish waters and is protected under the Protection of Wrecks Act.
