Single-arch road bridge built in 1817 over the River Boyle. Uncoursed walls with sandstone coping, string course and tooled cut stone voussoirs to arch-ring. Stone walls to east and west of bridge.
This road bridge forms a visually-striking backdrop to Abbey House. The ashlar masonry and large single arch attest to the high-quality engineering and building techniques of the nineteenth century.
