In reclaimed pasture, a ring-ditch (LI040-108----) with associated pits and kiln (LI040-108001-/002-) was excavated 235m to the W. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Excavations prior to the construction of the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline revealed a hearth (Site 2/23/1A) and post holes excavated by Gowen in 1986 (Gowen 1988, 180). Hearth has been fully excavated.
