Excavations in advance of the N2 Finglas-Ashbourne Road Scheme in 2004 revealed a random grouping of features including a small burnt pit, a linear feature and a small pit or cremation (03E1358). The pit (diam 1.65m, D 0.65m) produced 280 pieces of prehistoric pottery of Late Bronze Age date (NRA).
