Grogagh Stone Ringfort

Internal diam. c. 25m. A circular area enclosed by a ruined stone wall. A modern field wall is built on the line of the cashel wall on the S side. The N side of the interior is flat but then begins to slope towards the S. 5m from the S wall a ledge of rock 2m in height crosses the site E-W. The site is located on rocky ground in poor pasture and bogland on a S-facing slope. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
