Graveyard in Palmerstown Lower is a rectangular walled graveyard in County Dublin with memorials dating from 1704 to 1934. Early headstones cluster near the chancel of the surviving medieval church. In 1955 human remains appeared in a pasture field a short distance away, probably belonging to the graveyard. The place still holds both remembered and forgotten lives.
This is a rectangular walled graveyard. Memorials date from 1704-1934. There are some early headstones just SE of the chancel of the surviving medieval church (DU017-026001-). In 1955 human remains were discovered in a field of pasture c. 45m from the graveyard and probably associated with it (NMI, Cahill & Sikora 2011, 273).
