Graveyard in Kilmanicholas

Graveyard

What is recorded here

New Strancally farmyard in County Waterford stands on the buried heart of Kilmanicholas, where an early church and graveyard once anchored local life. The stones vanished beneath soil and farm work, leaving no marker for the dead or the prayers that filled the air. What is lost is not trivial; it is the shape of a place before it became a field.
According to Power (1952, 23) the location of an early church and graveyard was partly occupied by New Strancally farmyard. The graveyard remains unlocated. Power, Rev. P.
