Buaile Glas is an old burial place on the east side of Inis Oírr, quarter of a mile from the sea. A low oval cairn of stone still lies there, longer than twelve metres and fading at one end as if people took stones from it across the years. Small set slabs dot the top, some forming rectangular shapes that may have marked the dead or simply held the mound together. The graveyard has watched the Atlantic for centuries, keeping its quiet company with the island and the sky.

On E side of Inis Oírr c. 250m from seashore. Known locally as Buaile Glas and described by Robinson (1980) as an 'old burial place with traces of surrounding wall'. It consists of a low ovate cairn of stone running NE-SW (L >12m, Wth 6.5m, H 1m) which fades out at NE end (possibly due to robbing). Traces of a slab revetment are visible at SW end and along W side. Numerous small set slabs, some forming rectangular settings, are visible on the summit.
