What is recorded here
Coolnasmear is a hidden graveyard. The name Pairc na cille is still spoken locally. The field is no longer visible. The dead are still there under the soil.
According to Power (1952, 142) there was a place called Pairc na cille - the field of the graveyard - at Coolnasmear. It remains unlocated.
