Graveyard in Cill Éinne

In a level field of pasture about 0.5km N of Cill Rónáin, Inis Mór. Known locally as Poll na Marbh and reputed to be the burial place of Connemara men (O'Flahertys) murdered in 1584 (Hardiman 1846, 401). It consists of a small rectangular slightly raised area (L 6.3m, Wth 5.7m, H 0.4m). Several limestone flags, set on edge to form a kerb, are visible along E edge but W side has been damaged by the insertion of a rain-collection unit.
