What is recorded here
Ballycrogue is a graveyard in County Carlow, Ireland, associated with a medieval church. The connection is probable even though neither the 1840 nor the 1908 OS 6-inch map depicts the burial ground. That absence makes the place harder to picture and easier to imagine: people may have walked past an unmarked field of graves for generations before the church and its dead became visible to surveyors.
Though not depicted on either the 1840 or the 1908 OS 6-inch map it is probable that there was a graveyard associated with the medieval church (CW007-038001-) at this location.
