Grave Yd

On N side of road; roughly wedge-shaped graveyard (c. 70m E-W; c. 25m N-S at W end, very narrow at E end) enclosed by stone wall. Still in occasional use; mainly late 18th- and 19th-century headstones, the earliest noted dated 1766; also low uninscribed gravemarkers. In NW quadrant, ruins of chapel-of-ease for Inishcarra parish (9506); ground slopes noticeably down from church.
